Men's Varsity Eight:  Michael P. Lambert Trophy

The Michael P. Lambert Plate is awarded to the winner of the Men's Varsity Eight.  Mike Lambert's love of the sport of rowing led him and others to create Three Rivers Rowing Association to provide opportunities for rowers of all ages and ability to learn the sport.  Thousands have benefited from TRRA programs, and to honor his contributions, the original boathouse on Washington's Landing was named the Michael P. Lambert Boathouse in 2007.

Dorrance Trophy is awarded to the winner of the Women's Varsity Four.  Emily Dorrance was poised to make her mark on the world as an educator who had a kind and generous spirit, when she was stricken with cancer and passed away at age 23 in 1998.  Emily is remembered fondly in the rowing community as the force behind the establishment of the Winchester Thurston crew team.  She also brough her enthusiasm for rowing to Bates College, where she was a varsity member of crew for 3 years.  Emily cared deeply about disadvantaged children and wanted to improve their opportunities, she was an inspiration to everyone who knew her and is deeply missed by many.
